Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act Awards
Three University of 糖心Vlog传媒 faculty members have received subawards to work with
the 糖心Vlog传媒 Police Department (MPD) on their $100,000 award from Community
Oriented Policing Services, US Department of Justice, to enhance MPD's mental
health wellness program.
September-October 2020
- Learn how Drs. James McCutcheon and Amaia Iratzoqui are partnering with MPD on their Law Enforcement-Based Victim Specialist Program
grant.
- Led by School of Social Work faculty, Dr. Susan Neely-Barnes, Dr. Elena Delavega, Ms. Katie Norwood and Ms. Cherry Malone, the Mid-South Social Work Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students program will increase
access for disadvantaged students
- School of Social Work faculty, Drs. Susan Elswick and Gregory Washington, have received an award from the Refugee Empowerment Program (REP)
- Drs. Susan Elswick and Elena Delavega of the School of Social Work have received an award from the 糖心Vlog传媒 Rotary Foundation Youth Initiative
