Choir Camp is for rising 7th - 12th graders

Welcome to the Summer at the Scheidt Choir Camp – the ultimate destination for choral enthusiasts seeking to elevate their skills and prepare for the upcoming choral year! Immerse yourself in a week filled with inspiration, education, and camaraderie as you embark on a musical journey with our expert faculty.

Camp Highlights:

• Expert Faculty: Our camp is led by a team of experienced and passionate faculty members who are dedicated to helping you enhance your choral abilities. With a focus on vocal technique, musicality, and performance, our faculty will guide you towards reaching new heights in your choral journey.

• Engaging Lessons: Explore new techniques and refine your skills through engaging lessons tailored to your voice and experience level. From vocal warm-ups to advanced choral techniques, our curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire, ensuring continuous growth and improvement.

• Masterclasses: Participate in enlightening masterclasses led by accomplished choral experts. Gain valuable insights into the art of choral singing, receive personalized feedback, and discover ways to express yourself more confidently and effectively through your voice.

• Performances: Showcase your talents and experience the joy of choral singing through captivating performances. Our camp provides a platform for you to share your love for music with fellow campers, creating unforgettable memories and fostering a sense of community.

• Camp Concert: Share what you've been learning and singing all week at the special Camp Concert on Friday.

Extended Day and Overnight Options:

Campers are encouraged to fully immerse themselves in the musical experience by staying for the entire day until 8 PM. This extended duration allows for the exploration of thoughtful electives, the honing of skills, and the building of connections with fellow musicians.

Upgrade your experience and be a resident camper! Campers can live, learn and play the week away on the University of ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ campus—housing in Shirley C. Raines Centennial Place for Choir Camp 2026.

 

CAMP COSTS

Day Camper: $275

Includes tuition and an official camp t-shirt if registered by March 27.

Registration for a Day Choir Camper closes on May 28 at 4:30 PM.

Add Ons:

• Day Camper Meal Plan: $100
(Includes lunch and dinner Monday–Thursday plus lunch on Friday)

• Official Camp T-Shirt (if registering after March 27): $15
Requested shirt size cannot be guaranteed if purchasing after May 1.

Resident/Overnight Camper: $575

Includes tuition, official camp t-shirt (if registered by March 27), 4-night accommodation, and meals.

Meals included:
Lunch & Dinner on Monday
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Tuesday–Thursday
Breakfast & Lunch on Friday

Registration for an Overnight Choir Camper closes on May 22 at 4:30 PM.
