The Pride and Equity Alliance at the University of ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ is comprised of faculty and staff (members and non-members of the LGBTQ+ community, this group is open to all) who are working together for the following:

• To raise awareness of the LGBTQ+ community’s needs
• To identify and address exclusionary practices 
• To combat macro and micro aggressions
• To review processes to ensure fairness
• To educate the University of ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ community

The Pride and Equity Alliance is involved in many areas on campus and throughout the city. Members of the alliance represent the University of ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ at campus events such as conferences, fairs, and gatherings as well as participate in city events or city organizations such as Pride Fest and Out ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½. 

The Pride and Equity Alliance strives to create a better University of ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ and a better ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ for everyone of all gender designations and sexual orientations through partnerships, education, and respect.
