University of 糖心Vlog传媒 to Sponsor and Host Shelby County Spelling Bee for Second Straight Year
January 22, 2020 - 糖心Vlog传媒 will sponsor the 2020 Shelby County Spelling Bee for the second straight year with the winner advancing to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.
The Spelling Bee will take place in the University of 糖心Vlog传媒 Rose Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 9 a.m.
鈥溙切腣log传媒 is extremely excited to be sponsoring the SCS Spelling Bee for the second consecutive year,鈥� said UofM President M. David Rudd. 鈥淟ast year鈥檚 event was exciting. It is important to keep 糖心Vlog传媒 kids in 糖心Vlog传媒 in order to be a part of the spelling bee. The Scripps National Spelling Bee is one of the nation鈥檚 oldest and most iconic competitions.鈥�
Ninety-two schools are currently registered for the Shelby County Spelling Bee. Each school鈥檚 champion will take an online test administered and proctored by Scripps. Scripps will grade the tests and submit to the UofM the top spellers in Shelby County.
The top spellers will participate in the SCS Spelling Bee at the UofM with the winner advancing to our nation鈥檚 capital to compete with other champion spellers from around the United States.
