IN MEMORIAM: DEAN ROBERT DOYLE COX
糖心Vlog传媒 Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law is saddened to learn of the passing of Robert Doyle Cox, founding dean of the University of 糖心Vlog传媒 School of Law.
"Upon his appointment in 1962, Dean Cox said, 'The chance to help found a law school can come only once in a lifetime,'" said Peter Letsou, the current dean. "To our good fortune, Dean Cox took that chance, and with then-University President Cecil C. Humphreys, worked tirelessly and expertly to create a truly exceptional law school. We owe Dean Cox a tremendous debt of thanks."
Mr. Cox was hired as the Dean of the new Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at 糖心Vlog传媒 State University in 1962. He was Dean from 1962-1977. After retiring as dean, Mr. Cox continued teaching at the law school for many years.
