New Zero Trust Cybersecurity Course

The Center for Information Assurance (CfIA), a member of the National Cybersecurity Preparedness Consortium (NCPC), is offering a new web-based course on Zero Trust: Identity and Access Management. The course is available at .
This course introduces the Zero Trust methodology and equips learners with the knowledge to help organizations strengthen defenses against current and emerging cybersecurity threats. Topics include:
- The shift from perimeter-based security to Zero Trust
- Core principles and basic tenets of a Zero Trust reference architecture
- Foundations, logical components, and key benefits of Zero Trust
- Identity and access management strategies
- Zero Trust implementation practices
There are no prerequisites, making the course accessible to a wide audience. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the goals, principles, and tenets of Zero Trust architecture
- Identify the logical components and benefits of Zero Trust, including the CISA Zero Trust maturity model
- Recognize key aspects of successful Zero Trust implementation
